Demo version 0.2.4.6
A while back, it was pointed out that the hood of the main protagonist looks a bit like a clan member. This was never my intention, and any sort of resemblance, even vague, is not ideal. So, as a precaution, I made the choice to alter the headwear slightly—changing the face a bit, as well as making the hood slightly longer. This update changes the player's appearance slightly, while still remaining recognizable.
Personally, I like this new design more, as I feel it gives the player a bit more character. I hope you like the new look as well. I'll update the screenshots a bit later, as well as the GIFs on the store page. Unfortunately, the demo trailer will still retain the old hood design, at least for now.
Here's the list of the rest of the fixes and tweaks:
- New hood design for the player
- Skeletons and other bony enemies now have a different color, as they were accidentally green (I'm partially color blind and didn't notice until now)
- A bunch of other graphical fixes and adjustments
- Fixed main menu sub-weapon changing, as returning to the main menu from mid-game allowed the player to change sub-weapons
- Cleaned up an old hidden beetroot from the challenge level
The Deflector Grip
- Is now a bit more powerful, and works against the Wall Stalker's projectiles (the rapid-firing white skull enemy)
- Deflecting enemy projectiles with this equipped now creates some extra sparkle effects
